Labor Day 2008

For Labor Day we went to Lake Jackson. We left early and planned on having the whole day on the lake. Unfortunatley, things did not go as planned. When we went out to the boat and had everyone and everthing loaded, Lee tried turning the engine on and it would not crank properly. After about 4 hours of trying to fix it and a trip to Advance Auto, it started working. We were then able to go out and play on the lake for about 2 hours. Not all the family was able to be there, but those of us who were had a great time.

ZOOM Whitening

Dave and I went to the dentist a few weeks ago for our 6 month check ups, and when I was finishing up I was asking the Hygenist about whitening my teeth. She said they were actually having a drawing for a free whitening and that she would go ahead and put my name in. I didn't think much about it because I NEVER win anything. But, low and behold, I received a phone call from the office about a week later saying they had drawn my name and I could come in anytime for my free whitening procedure. I was SO EXCITED!!! The procedure took about 2 hours and it was absolutely painless. They also made whitening trays for me to take home and gave me bleach so I could continue to go whiter. My dentist charges about $500 dollars for everything I had done, and for me it was absolutely FREE!

Family Beach Trip 2008

For the past few years we have taken a family vacation to the beach. This was the first year Dave and I were able to go. Everyone was there except Adam and Kelly. We went to North Myrtle Beach. We were really worried the weather was going to be bad, but it turned out PERFECT! All in all we had a pretty good time. The only complaint I have is I wished we had a few more days. It was a six hour drive and we were there for 3 Days. Not quite long enough! Here are some pics of our trip.
